Kat plant for asphalt production and lubricating oil factory works on crude oil to produce (heavy gas oil, light lubricating oil, heavy lubricating oil, and oxidized asphalt) with a nominal capacity of 3150 tons/day. The factory is located in Kirkuk Province / Shuan Road / near the village of Saqzli. The factory works according to international standards according to the international standards which contributed through its products to cover the local need of these derivatives, dispense with imports, support the national economy and provide job opportunities.
Dukan Refinery was established in 2012-2014 in Sulaymaniyah / Dukan Governorate. The refinery works on crude oil with a capacity of 2000 thousand barrels per day to produce (light gas, oil, white oil, light gasoline, fuel oil). The refinery was established by European companies with the most developed technologies. The Dukan refinery is one of the most modern and developed refineries within the private sector in Kurdistan. It has cadres of all technical, mechanical and administrative specialties with more than 520 members and technical staff.
Kat International Transporting Company was founded in (2011) in the province of Kirkuk / near the area of Shuan. The company owns a fleet of trucks including (350 tankers) four hundred and fifty tankers. The company transports oil derivatives from and to Kat Group companies and Dukan refinery. The company operates on the standards of modern management and has a 450-staff that helps it go along with developments smoothly.
Al-Shimal Company for bricks was founded in 2013 in the province of Kirkuk-Chiman area. The company artfully produces bricks and has a production capacity of 1200 tons per day. The production line has been designed by a Belgian company specialized in establishing brick factories with the most developed technology. The company has a 100- staff that contributes to providing job opportunities for artists and supporting the economic issue in the province and throughout Iraq.
Reservoirs in Arbat and Kharajian consists of six tanks with a total capacity of 50 million liters of oil derivatives, which were established and exhausted by the latest technical techniques and it developed according to international standards in this field. This has provided (70) seventy technical, mechanical and administrative cadres that contribute to the provision and development of work and the imposition of work in this area.
